I went home early yesterday because I was feeling so awful and today - back at work I only feel marginally better. I weighed 143 this AM down 2 pounds but I don’t set too much store by this… I’ll probably gain it back by morning. I’m planning for a low day today. I had the yoghurt/apple/bran buds for breakfast and then the 160 calorie muffin here and for tonight the ENORMOUS salad with 1 cup of egg white. This should round out to about 766 calories. But I just did the calculations here on paper. I’ll have to crunch the real numbers when I get home. I feel pretty lousy right now though - can’t breathe - zoned out.

This morning I weighed in at 145. I don’t know what it is about my body that makes it so opposed to dropping one pound unless I suffer 3 or 4 days for it. So 145. That sucks. And today I packed my lunch: 160 calories of Carb fit yoghurt, 1 fuji apple = 70 cals. I had 80 cal or soymilk with coffee and then, because I was beside myself with hunger, I had 2 blueberry muffins which = 320 calories. So after I eat the huge salad I’ve prepared for myself and the 1 cup of eggwhites for dinner - I should land at 856 calories. I think I’ll put Braggs amino acids on the salad with a spoonfull or so of plain yoghurt. Then I’ll land at around 956. So this way I’m still under 1000. I’m fully convinced that I need to eat less than 1000 calories to lose any weight. God knows when I eat 1300, 1200 or even 1100 the best I do in break even. In hindsight I shouldn’t have eaten the muffins. Maybe it’s this cold that causes me to be so ravenous. I doubt it though - I’m ravenous all the time. God I hate my body. I feel like it operates in every way to spite me. It feel sometimes like it knows I’m trying desperately to lose weight so it digs it’s heels in so I won’t lose a pound. Again - I think that I have to be indescribably miserable and very hungry to lose any weight. I know that in the past when I’ve dropped weight I’ve lost because I felt very hungry all the time. I can feel myself getting thinner. God I’m so frustrated. I’ll give the final crunch when I get home.

Monday morning and my throat is and has been sore. I can only guess that it’s allergies. I started the day by packing my yogurt and apple with pumpkin seeds for lunch - planning to eat jusp that and then egg white and loads of veggies for dinner, but when I got here a co-worker had made a cake. Naturally I had a piece though I think that it must have only had 300 calories for the size piece I took.
I swore I wouldn’t dwell on CRON here but I decided that I wasn’t Croned enough. I mean I’ve been doing this since January and I haven’t lost a pound. Well maybe I lost one pound, but by now I should be down at least 10. So I conclude I’m not eating enough veggies. I need to eat less generally- like stick to 1000 calories, and eat what I’m suppoed to. I should also cheat less - so I thought I would use this in addition to COM as ways to keep myself from cheating. THere’s nothing like having to report your daily weight.
So to start - I’m 5′ 4″ and I weigh 143. My goal weight is 112-115.
My new quotidian diet will be 2 carb fit yogurts, 1 apple, 1/4 cup pumpkin seeds, 1 cup of eggwhites and 10oz or so of mixed raw greens, mushrooms, and the like. That should only be around 600 calories and leave me a lot of wiggle room. ALso, this way I have room to change my veggies from time to time for cariation. Thus far it seems I’m consistently low in potassium and zinc, so I can throw in a few pieces of Raw sweet potato that’s loaded with potasium and maybe a smoked oyster or two for zinc. I keep wanting to get hazelnuts but I can’t seem to find them anywhere. Maybe I’ll just stick to almonds. I love pine nuts. I wonder what they hold nutritionally.
